I will have to measure but I'm using the ek slim, you could probably fit a 45mm with fans till it hits the GPU. Shorter GPU then more rad space

my local computer store had a display rig setup with the 570x rgb

it had the 3 stock rgb fans and a 280 corsair rad with what looked like 2x140mm ML corsair fans (white leds) and it really wasn't all that loud

5 fans in total, no rear exhaust

most of the noise was coming from the 3 front, I was kinda playing with it but the noise is really not that bad

it's not a complete self contained enclosure as it has openings to let air in/out which would account for the extra noise

question for the owners...

how transport friendly is this in terms of construction and durability? is it strong? quality materials? heavy?

interested in this case... again

The front 3 fans aren't that noisy at reasonable speed, I certainly don't notice them while gaming or doing very intensive tasks.

It does feel like a strong and durable case, my only concern when travelling would be the glass, you could remove and transport separately but then your components would be exposed. but the glass doesn't feel weak at all, it is about 4mm thick. It is a fair weight fully loaded, up to you but if I was buying a case for regular transport, I wouldn't buy this. But it is the best looking and overall best case I have owned! thumb.gif

hmmm...
what about once in a while transportation?
I like mid tower size

it has no hdd led indicator which was a minus for me

too early to say now but I wish corsair would make a next version of this after seeing some of the flaws

Hi guys, I ordered a 460x RGB yesterday, not received yet. I got a question, does this case come with a RGB fan hub? anyone knows it?

Really nice, for some odd reason I'm considering this case, I am not a fan of cases with side panels, and I dislike led's on my electronics mainly because my computer rooms are always fully dark and having a beam of light's coming out of a pc case ticks me off.
As for what I'm thinking of doing if I decide to get this is put a window tint on the front glass minimizing the bling and prob on the side as well.
Unsure why I liked this case so much I might be better off with the 400c, but g l a s s drool.gif

Update 1.5
I Got the cables made to come from the PSU so not extenssions, changed the fans on different controllers. Waiting for GPU block still then will get the loop redone with pastel white coolant. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

there 2 models

1. Crystal Series 460X
http://www.corsair.com/en/crystal-series-460x-compact-atx-mid-tower-case
-comes with 1 LED fan (non RGB) in the front
-doesnt have RGB controller built into the case.

2. Crystal Series 460X RGB
http://www.corsair.com/en/crystal-series-460x-rgb-compact-atx-mid-tower-case
- comes with 3x SP120 RGB fans in the front
- Has the controller built into the case (On the left by the power button as seen in the below pic, NOTE the RGB controllers can only take 6 fans, if you want more you need to get another controller)
http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2016/11/corsair-crystal-series-460x-rgb-review/460x-3-1700x1080.jpg

I bought the standard edition and 2 sets of 3 HD120RGB fans with fan controller.
- I prefer the HD LEDS to SP LEDS
-my 3 front fans on 1 controller and the other fans on the second, so i can have different colours and modes on the fronts ones compared to the rest.

Thanks for the pics. Terrific Build! I need to pull the trigger on a case and it's either this or the 570x or so I've told myself as of 10 min ago after looking for 5 weeks. You've decided to go with cable replacements instead of extensions. (They look super fresh btw:wheee: Couple questions;

1. If you had gone with extensions would there have been enough room for cable management? I'm thinking about the 24 pin and the GPU cables.

2. V1 Tech offers cable lengths starting with 12" (replacement or extension). Is 12" enough for replacements? My power supply would also be modular.

Yeah once in a while transportation would be fine IMO. Do you mean the 460X? As it does have a HDD led indicator.

1. Would be a tight fit, to save space i went for full custom cables.

2. my custom lengths i got
MB 8pin and 4pin 70cm
MB 24pin 60cm
GPU 8pin 50cm
