Yes, that fits - I did it on my C700P - I've added some elements of the M version to it.
(The whole frame/chassis is backwards/forwards compatible; some stuff just require more parts & steps)

Example:
Before:

After:

(I changed the RGB color to white and disabled the top one)

Main rig: COSMOS C700P/M | MSI Krait X99 | 5820K @4.2| EVGA GTX 1080 FTW | G.Skill 32GB | Samsung 850 Evo 250G, 840 Evo 1TB & 860 Evo 1TB | V1200 | Custom EKWB cooling

Oh wow! Brilliant. Looks extremely good. Thanks for sharing. May I ask where you obtained the shroud from and for how much?

Thanks for the compliment
I got the shroud from the CM office, as I work there (it's a sample). I expect that the shroud will sell for around 15 euro's.

Nice! And does it screw in from the back connecting to the motherboard tray or does it flop around like the current C700P solution?

When is the planned release date? Thank you!

The cover you is screwed it on the frame itself (from the TG panel side) with a couple of screws. There is also a (matching) top cover (to make it a full PSU shroud); that slides in on that + 2 screws (1 rear, 1 side). But haven't installed/tried that yet.
Planned release date: conservative guess: January 2019.

Hi you all,

i about a a week from now, I will start a new project, building inside the C700P. The case will be arrivingf within the next 3 days, bit I am already start planning for some mods to get a dual loop custom watercooling cramped inside the case
I quite like the C700P except for its' extremely dark tinted side panel. Well, it just so happens that my brother is owning the C700M and he would like his side panel to be a bit darker, i.e. more tinted than it is on the C700M.
My question now is: Are the side panels of both the C700P and the C700M interchangeable? On pictures it surely does seem so, but would be cool to know for sure.

Knowing how pic addicted you all are, of course I will post them here once the project actually started. I am also thinking about making my first build log.

Cheers
Mike

Yes, you can interchange the glass panels. I did that on my C700P - I've installed the M version glass panel, for exactly the same reason.

Perfect, thanks! Then I can switch between these both side panels.
