My new case has only 2 HDD trays I have 3 !!

I did not think much but now I have Thermaltake view 28 case that it has 2 HDD bays but I have 3 HDD any ideas how to install the third drive ?

Manufacturers are largely moving away from large spun drives, they take up a lot of room. Since there is no optical you can't put a 3.5" dock in it so yeah, tape.

Wherever it fits best with shortest cable run. I have done it. In fact I have mounted internal HDs externally, hanging, dangling with extended, modified cabling in all sorts of ways. Normally that was just temporary, but a semi perm fix with double tape is not unusual. More drives than bays, more than once.

You might be able to but it there but if this is drive location it looks like you should be able to jerri a couple more things in or around there. At least one.

one more thing the fans should be inside or in the front cage ? I installed then inside the case but I see other pictures that fans are inside the front cage so the lights appear !! I dont know
