Buy a new case or paint my existing one?

My Corsair 900D is great for my water cooling needs. Perfect in fact. However, the airflow from the front fans isn't great and the paint in starting to fade and mark on the side panel (due to direct sunlight).

I've tried painting cases before. It is tiger stripe hell! I thought about plasti-dip. Good idea?

If not, I need a case with excellent air flow, support either 2x360mm RAD or 1x360, 1x420mm RAD and have a front 3.5" slot for my fan controller. And as cheap as possible!

Thank you.

Painting isn't going to help your airflow

Get a new case. It's easy to paint and have it come out nice if you're patient but if all you're planning on doing is painting then I don't see how that's going to solve any of your cooling woes.

The air flow isn't great but I can deal with it, if the plasti-dip looked good. However what case would you recommend. I've been looking for hours and can't really find anything matching my needs.

I dunno anything worth suggesting that has a 3.5" front bay. Even 5.25" cases are hard enough to find.

Use software fan control and the options are endless

Problem: 900D has 3x 120mm blocked by solid front panel.
Solution: Cut 3x 120mm holes in front panel.
Or cut rectangular hole and add mesh.

On my 900D the front panel pops off so that's not an issue.

Unless you know what you are doing either with plasti-dip or painting you are in for a disappointment if you are a perfectionist.
