Any reason why you're using a radiator? HAF XB evo is a great air cooling case, and your flagship air coolers will perform the same if not better than your typical 240/280mm CLC. I did testing in the XB EVO in particular with a dual tower cooler and a 280mm CLC, and with the same fans installed on both coolers they performed basically the same. Plus, you won't be feeding your graphics card heated air. Just something to keep in mind.

Logitech G600 | G440 | Tt Meka G-Unit Cherry MX Black+Double O-Rings

The card probably won't have enough clearance for an air cooler. It already causes issues with memory. That backplate is huge. Plus, I already have an h100i sitting around.

I might actually end up having to run the card in the 2nd PCIE x16 slot just to clear the memory.

So, nothing in the Thermaltake core series would work? X5, X2, X1?

What size is your mobo you're using? Full ATX?

It's a founder's edition 1080ti that I grabbed for $450. Couldn't pass that up. Never broke 55c in furmark with this cooler. I'd rather not put the stock blower back on. So, I kind of wound up building a PC around it. Already have the board and cpu, so I'm locked into ATX. The x5 is a possibility

Grabbed a binned 9700k for a great price, and I ordered a z390 Aorus Pro Wifi board for it.

I miss the days when we had 2 TigerDirect stores near me where I could go and look at this stuff to decide whether it will work for me or not. There are no places like that left.

Looks like the X2 would also be a contender.

Yeah, I know how that feels. I had to drop my Xp with a Morpheus II to my second x16 slot because it wouldn't fit in the top slot. But spending 100 on a case and say 80-ish on an air cooler that will perform more reliably without sacrificing temps in other area sounds like a pretty good compromise. Just keep in mind that the XB is a pain to cable manage if you have some junk in the basement hehe.

This is the first system I've built since 2015. I usually never go this long between upgrades. I've never had this much trouble finding a case. I'm not an RGB guy, or a fan of anything flashy for that matter. I actually prefer a utilitarian look. Seems like a lot of function has been sacrificed for form in newer cases.
