Can anyone find this case for sale?

I'm looking for the green and white aluminum Enermax. I tried to order it, and newegg just cancelled the order due to no stock. I was hoping someone knows of some obscure website or something, where they can be bought. Again, not looking for the black one. Just the White and green.

Well now I've ordered from Fry's electronics, and they cancelled the order as well. Anyone know of somewhere that still has it in stock?

email Enermax and ask them? I'd imagine they'd know.

If Enermax can't hook you up, you could always buy a black and red one and paint it white and green.

Looks like that's what I'll be doing. Enermax says the white one is out of stock and discontinued. When painting the case, should I blast all the old paint off? Or just sand it and get it rough? Also, is there a particular paint that would come recommended? It would be cool to get some that had a hardener so the paint would be somewhat tougher.

best way to deal with aluminum is to blast, but there are ways around it with patience and lots of sessions in the booth.

the plastic will be prime and paint as well.

you could do it properly and strip all the old paint off and go with automotive self etching primer and a sealer and a base coat + clear coat or you can slum dog it and just rattle can on top of the existing stuff. up to you, both will get you a different color case if that's all your after.

if you want your paint to be durable you need to prep the substrate properly and it needs a primer, a sealer, and it needs a clear coat on top. there is no magic paint additive to make it stronger.

I've done lots of steel for automotive, but never aluminum. Can you please go into a bit more detail about the ways around it? Just want to see what my options are. Maybe it turns out that I won't mind the patience and extra sessions in the booth.

Well they call it hardener, but I see what you're saying. You can get paint + hardener rattle can form but it's one shot, you gotta use it all in that session as it won't be usable again later. I might just take the case somewhere and tell them to go at it. Somewhere that has the right blasting stuff for aluminum and whatnot.

i would if I could. that's all i got.

i'd assume youtube could help with actual specifics

maybe you know a dude with a shop sporting a blaster? maybe the same dude where you would use a booth.

best place to ask product specifics may actually end up being the caselabs owners club. all sorts of candy painted and coated cases over there.

Found it at my local Frys, they had 1 display model left on the shelf. Still in good shape. Got lucky I guess, they don't run these cases forever.
