Lost keys MasterCase Maker 5 glass side panel!

I lost my keys somehow for the tempered glass side panel that Cooler Master sells and I can't get into my rig. I'm willing to pay for a copy of a key. Anyone?

BTW, I've tried reaching CM support for almost a month and I've received 2 replies. None helped at all.

the locks on PCs are generally crap, surely you could get it open fairly easily. look for a guide on how to pick a tubular or pin tumbler lock (or whatever kind of lock it is).

5/16 carbide bit right in the center of the tumbler as a pilot, the 1/2 to get he rest of it out, flat head to turn the lock.

Any TUBULAR KEY with an outside diameter of 7mm and an inner diameter of 5mm would do the job,
you can find many on Amazon or Ebay
Idk how useful that is......there's always the back of a ball point pen if it's really cheap lock

I've never picked a lock before and I'd like actual keys for the side panel. If it comes down to it I guess I can always learn how to pick.

how to pick a cheap lock

step 1: find small metal thing
step 2: stick said metal thing in lock
step 3: wiggle around aimlessly and confusedly for a bit
step 4: success

if Cooler Master was worried about the integrity of their locks and genuinely keeping people out rather than having a marketing feature they wouldn't be putting it on a GLASS window, lol.

I’ll try to pick the lock but I wont be able to lock it back in place after opening it. I also want a new key but it seems like that’s not going to happen until Cooler Master employees are back at work.

because if you pick it once ... it grows appendages to block repeat picking?

Of course not. I just don't want to pick my lock every time I want to open and close the panel.

yeah, i have a few items i need to RMA with chinese companies and i've heard basically nothing.

as for the key - if you can figure out what the make is, getting a key for it from ebay(or even the local KEY STORE if hasn't been burned down yet) is likely ez as pie. they're made with the same cut by the thousands. specially if its a cheap safe lock. (round key)

or just take a pic of it, n take it to the key guy.
