F4 Bios Failure

Hi all. I have a Gigabyte X570 Gaming X mobo with a Ryzen 3700x, It came with Version 2.0 Bios so i updated it to -what was on the Gigabyte server- version F4j. I downloaded the latest version F4 Bios -released some days ago- and installed it, however, after the USB devices finished -steering wheel, flight sim stuff, mouse and keyboard, all the USB devices shut down and the system just hung with the occasional blip on the hard drive led. I tested with Bios's F2.0, F3 and F4j without boot problems, but F4 just hangs without ever getting to desktop. On the Gigabyte server the Beta versions were removed and the F3 and F4 versions are only available. I've yet to find anything on the web that would explain it, or indeed anyone having the same problem -though everyone else seems to have more expensive mobo's.

My question is why the version F4 Bios fails. I download the correct version for the Gaming X mobo i have. I'm thinking if i were doing something wrong then prior versions i have installed would have the same problem, yet they do not. I tried the @BIOS utility but always get a 425 error from any of the remote servers available - i do prefer to get Bios's direct from Gigabyte's site.

Any help please.

A quick update, the latest F5a bios does the same. Damned if i know whats going on. Also noticed the X570 fan does not spin with this Bios.
