Here is an example:
Code:
One Tab
        One Tab
                Two Tabs
    Four Spaces
        Eight Spaces
            Twelve Spaces
                Sixteen Spaces

This is most annoying when posting sections of code that had the correct indentation before.

Four spaces to a tab is standard practice in almost any IDE I have ever worked with.

Edit: Now that I go to show it in the bug tread, One tab seems to not work.... it is giving inconsistent distances.

This is my original post, it demonstrates it better:
Quote:
The CODE tags auto-converts TAB characters into double TABS.

Example:
Code:
No Tab at all
        One Tab
                Two Tabs
No Tab at all
    Four spaces
        Eight Spaces
            Twelve Spaces
                Sixteen Spaces

The four spaces line and the eight spaces line should line up with the one and two tab lines.....

One Tab = Four Spaces in any formatting guidelines I have ever read.

It seems that the CODE tag does not indent a tab if it is the first character in the CODE block..... that is another bug it seems...
