Reproducibility:

No, but I'll look into it.

Repro Steps:

Update: The issue is resolved when you edit the thread again. As I state below, none of the symbols are shown when you try to edit. So I'm guessing it's a bug when you edit the thread title from the forum, and use the RTE, but again, I'll double check that when I get some time.

Update #2: Confirmed. When you edit a thread title through the root forum, and the OP is written with the RTE, symbols break. Here is a live example:

Just include a post with line breaks and/or characters like •. Then (I beleive this to be the cause) only happened after I changed the thread title (using the method where you double click the title in the root forum, not the "Edit Thread" button). I don't know for certain if the title change was the reason, but there were no other edits, so it's looking likely.

However, none of these symbols are shown when I try to edit the thread; all breaks and symbols are showing correctly. Feel free to try it out on my account if you can't see it yourself.

The line breaks will be converted to  and • will be converted to •. Here's a screenshot of the thread, in case I remove the errors, since it was kinda an important thread...

Expected:

For that not to happen.

Notes:

IE9. Using the RT editor.

This was an issue during the migration; many of my • characters were converted but this is the first tiem I've seen it since.

BTW, I only noticed this after I changed the thread title (using the method where you double click the title in the root forum, not the "Edit Thread" button). I don't know for certain if the title change was the reason, but there were no other edits, so it's looking likely.
