Yeah but the FX owners thread is not a bloated thread. Its a thread with tons of knowledge where there are quite a few people that still use it and frequent it. But hey just close the thread without telling us. Ye KyadCK might of been told. But non of us knew. Go close the million post thread and all the other spam threads but not a thread that actually is useful. Not cool.

My bad, I have left a comment in the thread. KyadCK was informed to create a ''Part 2" of the thread to carry on the discussion if he so wished. Unfortunately while the Vishera owners club thread is smaller in size to some of the other threads we have here, it was causing too many issues and I was getting lots of people stating they where getting DB errors when trying to post in that thread in particular. The size or specific characteristics of that thread seem to be the issue, hence the closure. Until we are on a better platform (Not VB) there is nothing I can do about it other than mitigate the issues as they arise and treat threads on a case by case basis. Not ideal, but it is what it is at this point.

So can we get some sort of estimate as to how long it is until we are off of VB because this is just getting ridiculous. VB was one of the worse things to happen to OCN. Yes Huddler was being discontinued but seriously there were better platforms out there than Vbullitin. The chances of Kyad opening a part 2 to the vishera owners club is virtually none since Vishera is EOL and most people have migrated from it barring a few people such as myself.

I am unable to speculate on any platform changes at the moment. VB is a perfectly fine platform BUT we are using a very old version. When purchased by VS we would end up on their chosen platform they use for their portfolio which was this old VB. Unfortunately no company will change platforms based upon a single site acquisition. Platform changes only happen when the majority of a portfolio will benefit from it. Its not ideal but welcome to the corporate world.

As for the thread in question if Kyad is not interested in creating a version two then feel free to do it yourself, have a chat with him.

You do realize that OCN isn't the only source out there for Vishera information? Granted, it is the TOP source, but not the only one.
Stop acting so entitled and accept the fact that change is necessary for growth and not all problems will be fixed instantly.

Oh wow. Expecting something to work properly after this long after transition to VB is being entitled. They have had over a year to get things straightened out. Expecting there to be some sort of notification to be posted so that regular users can know on a thread that gets closed instead of having to find out when you try make a post in it.

It's not about the information. But the people that you have access to on OCN.

But hey. Guess expecting a tech forum to work properly more than a year after migration is definitely entitlement.

But hey this is what happens when a company like VS, which is more interested in $$$ and injecting ads into everything over their user base takes control of your favorite forum. Guess I'm entitled. Cool. I keep trying to give nu-OCN and and its staff the benefit of the doubt.

The only one who is entitled here is you NexusRed. The fact that you run around calling people entitled shows that you are the only one with an entitlement problem.

Let's keep it chill, we are all frustrated about the situations since the acquisition, lets not let the shortcomings of VS affect us anymore than it has

Lol funny how a word like "Entitled" can rile a person right up lmao.
Access to a person... for information? That's 1000% what a forum is for. Heck, that is what the internet is for.
Don't ever expect anything to work 100% with human intervention. Did VS/OCN set that expectation to us directly that the forum will be working 100% after a year? I don't ever remember hearing/reading anything of the sort.
Welcome to the 21 century my dude. Everything is about money. That has been the bane of man's existance from the time we started to value something more than ourselves. It isn't going to change.
Yessirs! I'm totally entitled! Every single post that I put up is entitled! My word is law and everything should work 100%! (It's a joke by the way).

Calm down friend. Your getting razzed up over a person on the internet lol.
