Posts being blocked

I just tried to make a reply in the following thread...

https://www.overclock.net/forum/226-...le-chrome.html

A nice well written and thought out post, no BB code, no HTML, no inline scripts and certainly no SQL commands. Yet every time I try to post, copy paste this text I get the following error...

Quote:
Sorry, you have been blocked
You are unable to access overclock.net
Why have I been blocked?

This website is using a security service to protect itself from online attacks. The action you just performed triggered the security solution. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data.
What can I do to resolve this?

You can email the site owner to let them know you were blocked. Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page.
That's ridiculous, this Cloudfare protection stuff needs to be disabled.

If I try to add or edit my post with my text only content even to THIS post, I get the same error and am blocked from posting. It's not an isolated case either, I replied to that thread earlier this week with a similar reply but written differently and was blocked the same. This caused me to lose my post and make me re-write it today and now again STILL be blocked. This time I saved it and it's why I was able to replicate the issue. Tried different IP's, different SOCKS5 proxies, IPv4 & IPv6, different browsers, all the same, it's like it's actually scanning the words I used and does not like them.

Like for real, what is this? Cloudfare scanning content and blocking certain "key words", lol wut?

Please can you send this content to me via email. enterpiseAToverclocked.net I will take a look at the content to see why the cloudflare protection is being triggered.

I did, same issue even tried again just now. I emailed the mods everything, apparently they're looking into this. Really weird that a plaintext English post is somehow getting rejected by some Cloudfare algorithm. Unless Cloudfare now scans posts and doesn't allow people to post content against the Google/surveillance capitalism model, I figured we had at least a few more years before that started.

I get the feeling looking at your post, looking at its construction and particular keywords, I think that is what has triggered it (at a guess). I am still waiting to hear back on this on. I will chase .

I think I figured it out, I just made a reply to this thread that was blocked. You know the directory path I listed in my post. "eccetera forwardslash hosts", I think that is what is triggering it. If I make a post and only put that in I am blocked. My post in the original thread without that is fine.

That's weird, a directory path being construed as being malicious, pretty common thing to be talking about on a computer forum.

Well that is the issue, I need to make sure that VS have not configured it in a way whereby it catches legitimate conversation, no good if it does that. I personally despise cloudflare, at least the way in which it has been deployed here. Nothing but trouble.
