Uploading .webp file format

Not exactly a bug, but not sure where to post this either;

As per title, our.. platform? That the right word? Doesn't recognise the .webp format, says invalid format if you try to upload one. You need convert it to something else prior to successfully uploading it.
(and because i'm lazy, yes, lol, i tried; renaming .webp to .png or .jpg doesn't help. Which i found odd, because i can still double-click the renamed file and it opens just fine)

Just for a heads-up.

Zip it into an archive and then retry, should work fine.
