Stuck on Boot - Spinning Dots / Can't Get Into Windows

I just fired up my old system and I had just installed the AverMedia Live Gamer 4K capture card in it. It booted fine and I tried installing the driver and application for that device - both froze halfway during the process. Killed the process via task manager. Shut down the PC and it was stuck at "Shutting Down" with the spinning dots for about 15 mins. So I hard shut it down by holding down the power button.

Then, after a few hours, turned the PC on and it's now stuck at the logo screen with the spinning dots!

I tried looking this up online and all I could find was "fixing MBR" and "rebuild BCD" etc. I tried those to no avail - it just spins and spins upon booting and it's driving me nuts.

I guess the AverMedia driver/application install that froze somehow corrupted the OS or boot sector?

I really need help with fixing this - really don't want to reinstall the OS from scratch on this rig right now.

Please help!
