Looking for a DAC/Amp combo

As the subject says, looking for a combo. Would like to keep below $200 if possible but am looking for quality.

Used to have an Auzentech Bravura in my old PC that I loved and made a huge difference even though my headpones did not need it (AD700's).

Now I got a new laptop and Sennheiser HD599's on the way. Would like a combo to drive them that i can later use once I build another desktop. Currently deploted hence I caved and got a laptop lol.

Inputs :
USB, digital, RCA (others are welcome as well)

Output : 3.5mm (and 1/4" if possible as well)

Would like bass, treble, and mid controls if possible.

My experience with dacs and headphone amps is none other than my Bravura had built in opamps.

Thanks for the help!

Seen great things about them. Only thing that makes me hesitant is currently being deployed with limited space/outlets. Are they that superior to all in ones for similar price?

Not really. There are plenty of very good combos for $200 or less. But it's hard to recommend anything with all of the things you enumerated. I think you'd have to spent a bit more.

Budget is a bit flexible. Just looking to avoid dropping like $500. Eventually, I will be looking to upgrade into that range. Even under or around $300 is fine.

Decent EQ in combos is rare and limited to very high-end units (which tend to be very expensive). If you don't mind not having that, the Topping DX3 Pro is a very good product with a lot of input options.

You can always look at combo DAC/Amp.
Having them separate is ideal but really makes little difference until you start going expensive.

I suggest checking out www.head-fi.org for more suggestions and more knowledgeable help.
