is it worth to buy the Wireles ModMic?

The producers of the ModMic have released a wireless variation!

In an effort to reduce the amount of wires on my desk, I’m searching for a wireless mic . I currently have DT990s headphones./.

Will this work as a desktop microphone?

what is your opinion for the Wireles ModMic?

I doubt it will work as a desktop mic since I am pretty sure it is a beam forming mic, but I could be wrong.

It sounds decent, but its not going to sound as good as a decent desktop mic like the blu yetti or something like it.

However it is obviously unique in the fact that you can turn your DT990s into a headset.

If you are looking top of the line audio quality, then go buy a proper microphone and an arm for it. If you want convenience and utility, then it won't disappoint you.
