turion power control

does anybody still remember how to use this on ubuntu? i have managed to install it but have no idea how to use it! i have used it on windows in the past but forgotten now. i have 4 x 16c opterons im wanting to OC for random X.

i know i need to disable something in the bios, but i have no idea of how i run it, do i just open a terminal and add commands ?

* CPU AMD Eng Sample, ZS222445TGG44_32/22/2_2/16 (4) x64 AES
L2:64.0 MB L3:48.0 MB 64C/64T NUMA:8
