Find an old computer with 2 or more NIC's inside, use pfsense to block specific websites.

blocking HTTPS will hurt far more than you think.

Blocking specific websites and specific prots, however, is relatively safe, easy, and smart.

The old computer with Pfsense can be anything, even an old single core monstrosity with only 512mb of ram.

I do have an old Athlon X2 with maybe 2gb ram, maybe I'll try it out. Any guides on how to set it up as a router with site blocking?
