ASUS XG 10GB not going past 50MBps

Hi guys,
I hope someone can assist me here.

I just recieved my Unifi 16XG yesterday and i am having an odd issue, that im struggling to resolve.

My Setup
Network config
I have the 16XG as my main switch and then a 16Port 1GB switch downstream (connected over aggregated 2x DAC cables at 2GB/s).

My desktop has 2 NIC's, the ASUS XG-100C 10GB and the onboard intel I211 1GB NIC.
My main drive is a Samsung 512GB 960 Pro @ Read :3,500 MB/s and write speeds of up to 2,100 MB/s
My Intel NIC is going to the downstream switch, the ASUS is going to the 16XG

I have a Dell R720 connected to 2x RJ45 ports on the 16XG also using port aggregation (my SPF+ card is in the mail still).
On my R720 i have a WD Black SN750 1TB drive @ Read:3470MB/s,Write: 3000MB/s SSD

So my expectation, if i disable my Intel NIC, would be around 200MB/s (limited by the 2 x 1GB Aggregated ports on the R720). Is this correct?
To test LAN speeds, i disable one of my NIC's to test with. That allows an easy side by side comparisson.
I am testing copying a 50GB file from my desktop to the NVME ssd on the R720

The Issue
So what im seeing, is that when i use the Intel, i get the full 1GB(100MB/s) as expected, limited by the 1GB NIC, and perfectly stable.
When I use the ASUS 10GB, i only get around 10-50MB/s. Im not even getting a stable 1GB i get on the intel, it averages about 1/3rd of the speed if not less.
I have swapped cables, and that makes no difference
I plugged the ASUS into the downstream switch at 1GB and that didnt change anything.
Ive tried some of the 10GB settings, and that didnt change anything. (
I updated the drivers from to

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the issue could be here?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Can you tell what the Asus card auto-negotiates to on the switch? And maybe force it to auto-negotiate to a higher speed?
