Ethernet Through House

I am new to this, I just bought a new house and I want to put an ethernet plate from one room to another. I was looking at the plates I can buy at Home Depot, and I am confused.

I am trying to figure out where I would plug in the router / hub / switch etc that would feed these plugs. Unless I am missing something, which I probably am. How would I accomplish this.

What part are you having the trouble with? Follow these instructions to install the wall jacks. Look into what cables you need then go from there

What exactly is your question?

I don't recommend the ones you posted. The cat5 part is akin to phone jacks and not cat for ethernet. If you're able to terminate your own cat5e, I'd recommend proper plates for keystones. If you're not terminating your cat5e and just buying patch cables, i'd recommend something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Sancable-Ethe.../dp/B07LH1QD4B

Coax tool-less terminating isn't too bad and you can find those ends at big box stores too. If you already have the run and just want a clean wall port, they have ones like the above for coax so you don't have to terminate it.

Windows 10 is the platform, you are the product.
