I have gskill ripjaws series 1600 MHz ram... Should I upgrade to the Samsung? Will the difference
Between the overclocks be a worthwhile switch?

maybe, if you like to bench it would be worth it or would love to fiddle with your RAM to get the best timings and frequency stable configuration go for it, it is great RAM at nice price.. if you just game and general use then i wouldn't worry about upgrading as my G.skill ripjaws are plenty quick for me smile.gif

Pretty much that ^^

Only worth it if you want to try to achieve high overclocks. Besides that, not worth it.

General pc use, no. If you are on hwbot and doing ram synthetic benchmarks then yes. Thanks

I wouldn't bother. I had 16GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600 (9-9-9-24 2T) and replaced them with 16GB of the Samsung 30nm RAM that I run at 1866 (8-9-9-24 1T) and there's no perceivable difference in my day-to-day activities. Only a select few of benchmark scores are higher. I'd recommend it to somebody getting a new build, but it's not worth replacing your current set unless it's discontinued and you want more capacity.
