Looking at this you may need to play around with them a bit to find something that works for you.

Some people say to set them the same or higher than cas.

Q2: Do you have a screenshot of all your timings? I can make one.
What VCCIO/SA? Any other trick? 1.05/1.15 nope

I have the exact same problems with my Aorus Pro. Seems like these gigabyte board works better with 4 sticks of memory installed is what I heard. I bought an extra used 16gb ddr4 3200 cl14 gskill trident z set and see if I can go beyond 3866mhz. Before I got this Aorus Pro board, I had the Asrock Z370 Extreme4 with the same 9900k, same 16gb ddr4 3200 cl14 gskill trident z ram and I was able to run 4266mhz cl18 1.425v vccio 1.165 and vssa 1.224v. With the same CPU, same RAM same everything except this Aorus Pro, max I can run is 3866 16-16-16-36 1T 1.425v. Anything beyond will result a black screen no boot.

9900k @ 5Ghz 1.296v, 47x cache vccio = 1.20 / vccsa = 1.20/ BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 CPU Cooler / Gigabyte Z390 Aorus PRO F8 BIOS / 32GB DDR4 3200C14 @ 4000 CL17-17-17-37 2T 1.425v / Asus Strix GTX1080TI @ 2063/12000 MX4 / 128GB Samsung PM961 SSD + 3.84TB Samsung PM863A SSD / LG DVDRW SATA / EVGA P2 650W 80 Plus Platinum PSU / Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Case with 3x Rosewill 140mm Hyperborea high airflow fan / Windows 10 Pro 1809 /

Download all of the BIOS's for your board...Test all of them till you find the one that is best for your needs. Work with it, and be happy

This is a T-topology motherboard, it'll clock better with 4 DIMMs than 2. Looks like you're close to the suboptimal 2 DIMM limit.

I just received extra 16gb gskill ddr4 3200cl14 ram yesterday in the mail and now I can run at 4133mhz RAM without any issues per the QVL gigabyte suggested. I guess this board isn't good with 2 sticks scaling. However first time 4133mhz did took 2 minutes to boot up while the motherboard is training with the advance memory timing. But once that process is completed, then the system will boot as normal.

Do you have more info about this? AFAIK 4 DIMMs puts extra stress to the IMC, which itself might already be weak to even clock 2 dimms. Cant justify spending 360dlls just to run 32GB but at 4000mhz hehe. 16Gb is fine.

So I've been playing around with these HyperX Sticks and I just cant get them to be stable at 3600 (fails at 6000% Karhu at 4 hours or so).

I've tried:
F8 Bios, F8i Bios (seems stabler) and F8b Bios.
All voltage ranges for VCCIO and VCCSA between 1.05v up to 1.32v
vDimm 1.35V ~ 1.50v
Tried specific stability tricks for the Z390 Aorus master like: tCWL at 18~20, tRDWR's at 18~20.
Tried all memory enhancement profiles.

While my stability has improved a lot (I can game no problem but Karhu fails at 5000% around that) it isn't stable.

Do discard the Kit, I'm going to return it and just purchased the F4-4000C17D-16GTZR which per G.Skill are on the QVL (but on Gigabyte's QVL don't show).

I'm also after a 9900k once the R0 stepping comes out, maybe this helps.

This is the best I got, at 3600 (4000 is impossible) and it's not 100% stable as per Karhu.

I played a lot already, I don't know what else to test, see all what I tested in the quote above. If you know any other "trick" please do share!

Looks like you have done it all and the only other thing I can think of is to try the other RAM slots and did you end up trying one stick at a time to see if you have a dud?
