Should I Return This RAM kit I Bought With Not Much Thought for a Ryzen 3000 Build
The other day I put a order in for a Ryzen 3600 and got some Ballistix Sport 2x8 Gb 3000 sticks with a CL 15 so thought these were pretty good sticks for only $68. Then I read about how the sweet spot for Ryzen 3000 is ram with 3600 speeds, but 3600 RAM pricing is pretty high so thought hey I'll just OC a 3200 set to 3600 and save the money. So looked around and came too some RAM stick options but cant quite determine why these sticks are $30 price difference.
First is the G.SKILL Trident Z Neo 2x8 3200 CL 16, it fits the color scheme I'm going for as it has white in it and lights are ok (dont absolutely need them) for $108.
Then there is the G.SKILL TridentZ which is again 2x8 3200 CL 16 but for $79. The TridentZ has white incorporated in the design so would work well but can't figure out the difference btw these two sticks as from what I have gathered both are Samsung B-Die chips.
Lastly I went back to the Ballistix Sport as I saw there was also a 2x8 3200 Cl 16 set in a white design to boot as well for $77 making it the cheapest option and I read that micron E-die chips are just as good as the B-die ones so now I really can't decide between them and would appreciate any insight.
