Spending $349.00 on a 32gb b-die kit seems abit much but I am considering it. What would I be paying for?
Any thoughts appreciated.

If you're going to buy it and set XMP and that's it, no, it's not worth it.

You should only be spending around $240-280 unless you can find a good sale. Here are plenty in that price range for 2x16GB 3200 CL14:

https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100007...00%20600546709

What are you trying to compare the b-die to and what's your goal/usage?

B-die is typically the best binned RAM you can get, so if overclocking and performance is your goal, then it's worth spending that extra bit to get more headroom with timings at higher clocks.

There's also a more mid-tier Micron E-die that is the price/performance sweet spot. You'll find the same 2x16GB 3200 in timings like 16-18-18 vs B-die's 14-14-14.

I have 32gb of BLS4K8G4D32AESTK cost me $156.00 at Newegg. I see all the post on how memory timings improve the performance on the new ryzen. I am a tad ocd and like things to run at there peak performance and efficiency seems b-die is the best at that on the platform. At a high cost though.

Bottom line I am looking to get talked into it or talked out of it.

For some reason I was thinking single sided. The tweeking potential equal single vs double?

Don't do it! You are probably not going to see any real benefits over your current kit. If you were starting from 'no' ram; maybe (and even still, probably not worth the extra cost).

I know from experience (I have 4 16gb kits of B-die ram; Microcenter open box deals are going to be the death of me!).

Kokin, Hey 3 of those kits in that list have gone out of stock. Heck it is like a b-die frenzy.

You could get two of these kits for $240

https://www.newegg.com/team-16gb-288...20313712-S1A2A

I have a big bang house. I had all the materials for my new house brought in and dumped on a vacant lot. I took a stick of dynamite, lit the fuse on fire and tossed it into the pile of materials. BOOM went the explosion and when the dust settled I had a new house! Amazing isn't it?
