Anyone have any inside retail information if there will be a b-die shortage anytime soon?

How is the A-die? About as good as B-die, but brings down prices for 32GB sets?

B-Die is EOL so yes, there will be a shortage eventually. I don't have any inside scoop on how much inventory retailers are sitting on though.

Probably wont see A-Die out on the shelves for a while.

New=/= better. Just because B-die is dying at the same time A-die is introduced doesn't mean A-die is the new B-die. B-die just happens to be an older die and they need to move away from it to make room for new products.

Soo ... i have g skill b die waiting for future build(4133 cl 19 GTZR).. so i keep them or return them? Thinking it might not be on future QVL on the motherboard i choose later on? Is it really big difference between different versions making them less likely to work good on future motherboard or are memory basically the same?

What a timing... I just bought myself more ram too. But let see if I'm never getting them because the availablity is nonexistent. But it takes time when A-die is matured.

B die will have good compatibility for the foreseeable future since they have great performance on most platforms and manufacturers have them in hand for testing. Especially if you have 4133, they will match great with newer platforms that can support higher frequencies, whereas as right now not all can run 4133. In other words, that kit should be future proof.
