Is this a good overclock?

Hi all,

I have 2x4GB DDR3 1866 CL9 and also 2x4GB DDR3 2133 CL10 in my system right now. I've had them for a while running at XMP and no issues there. Recently I got the bug to tinker with my system again and try to squeeze more out. I set the bios to manual and have all memory modules running at 2133mhz, 10 11 10 28 1T with 1.65volts. Is this a good overclock? What else can I do to better my ram performance? It seems like I'll be keeping my current setup until next year when the new consoles come out and everything takes its path after that.

Cheers

Try DDR3-2400, Z97 with 4790K can take advantage, but this is assuming you have a good CPU cooler to keep processor cool.

ikr, nice GSkill advise there... Makes no sense.

It's a decent OC. ideally if you're on DDR3 you want to have at least 2133mhz to keep up these days.

More DRAM Voltage or higher timing would be necessary, what did you try?

May need to try more DRAM Voltage

Did you set SA Voltage for DDR3-2133?
