Adata XPG

Ok I am running dual channel Adata XPG 2666mhz. But CPUZ says I am running at 1333mhz XMP is set.. So am I to assume that basically since I am in dual channel that each stick runs at 1333Mhz to make up the 2666mhz ( ie 1333+1333=2666 )

Or can I safely overclock them to run at 2666 apiece ?

DDR = Double Data Rate
XMP 1333Mhz = 2666MT/s
Future Overclock depends on the memory ICs that are build in
You can find these out with Thaiphoon Burner

Potential OC depends on that and corresponding memory voltage + timings on the build in chip

They are at 2666. That's the effective rate. The reason you see both 2666 and 1333 is because, as another poster said, RAM is DDR which stands for double data rate. Whenever you're in doubt, the higher number is the one you're actually running.

Ok, so if I want to OC the sticks what would you guys OC them too ? or I know Ryzen likes memory speed, so its either squeeze a little more out of these or fork over 200+ for 3200mhz
