I think I had tried using newer drivers and wattman but it wouldn't let me undervolt the gpu or something weird like that, and touching anything in afterburner would cause it to go into... what do they call it, 2d clocks or something. It was stuck at 300mhz til reboot. It was annoying, this GPU really needs to be undervolted vs stock or it runs much much hotter.

Those boost 7950s are finicky.

I do hate the auto-boost and other nonsense that is baked into modern GPUs. I have to dance around the boost on my Vegas to run them at max clocks and not way over boost and crash when load the load drops.

I will post some Radeon VII numbers once I get my card. The card will primarily be doing other work, but I will run MilkyWay on it for testing and post the numbers here.

If those are single tasks, that's about twice as fast as my 7970 clocked at 1200/1400. There should be a bit more performance to squeeze out of it, but who knows how that user has it running.

A user mentioned some are 1x and some are 2x (the ones in the 30s) for 19 seconds per task.
