Is it possible to install the EK backplate without taking the block off the GPU? Maybe one screw at a time?

I've already received my block, and I'm eager to get started, but the backplate won't ship for another two weeks....

Decisions...

I am not bothering about backplate this time... There is no ram on the back of the card so its just cosmetics... not worth paying for international shipment again.

The backplate and the block share a certain amount of screws. The block is secured by 15 screws and out of those 15, 6 are used to secure the backplate. So yes you will be able to install the backplate without completely removing the block. thumb.gif

Yeah I know this intellectually, but I still want it.

Besides, I feel like it adds an element of physical protection to the card.
