My Dad upgraded from 7 to 10 last year only to find out the hard way that there are no 10 drivers for one of two pieces of hardware that come pre-installed with the 1747.

I was tasked with reinstalling 7, but am running into an issue. The setup begins just fine. Then at some point after a restart I get what you see in the pic.

Since I can't even get into the OS (I get the same error when I try Safemode) I don't know hot to even begin troubleshooting this. Any advice would be appreciated thumb.gif

The only time I ever had a problem with Win not installing is when it did not like having certain optical drives installed (DVD/Blu-ray). See if you can disconnect the optical drive on the laptop and try to reinstall Windows 7.
