Hello all OCN members and happy new year wink.gif

I'm starting a new build for a friend, just wanted to make sure all is fine, and got a question too.

Here's the complete list of components i'd like to get after some reading (reviews/websites):

CASE Corsair CC-9011049-WW ATX Obsidian 450D € 110
ASROCK Z370 Killer SLI/ac LGA 1151 € 133
CPU i7 8700k € 410
COOLER Cryorig H7 € 50
Asus DRW-24D5MT (dvd/cd) € 16
THERMAL PASTE GELID EXTREME gc € 7
DDR4 F4-3000C15D-16GVKB € 200
SSD SAMSUNG 960 EVO M.2 500GB € 248
EVGA SUPERNOVA 750 G2 € 124
GPU Gigabyte AORUS GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Edition 8G € 600
2 X Noctua NF-A14 PWM (case top) € 36

TOTAL € 1.934

Just a fast question, if noone has something to say about other components: i do not see the G Skill DDR4 F4-3000C15D-16GVKB on the Asrock z370 killer Memory QVL, do you think the would be an issue? i don't think so, but i'm asking to be sure.

Here's the screenshot of that page:

Thanks in advance thumb.gif

It should be fine, but I would get some ram on the list to avoid any problems.

My wife said "It's me or the computer!" I still miss her.

Agree: the memory you chose is probably ok, but to be 100% choose from the list. Better safe than sorry.

The other component choices rock: nice CPU, nice M/B, nice GPP. Looks good.

Looks absolutly fine and good choices to marry the 8700K...I was worried that you might be cheaping out on the motherboard but after reading some reviews on it, it looks like a great cost effective option...

Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 - i7-8700K - 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 LED 3000 - 1 x Samsung NVME M.2 SSD 256GB - 2 x
Samsung EVO 250GB SSD - 1 x 256GB M4 Crucial SSD - 2 x 1TB Hard Drives - MSI Geforce GTX 1080 Gaming X - Thermaltake Core P3 - Antec M360 Mercury AIO.

No worries. I use a Z270 asrock board and although my G Skill kit isn't on the QVL.. it works good. I wouldn't bother with the 2 fans though for 36 eur. Save some $ or upgrade another component.

Well thanks for all the replies.
At the end i decided to go with CMD16GX4M2B3000C15 from corsair, i did prefer the dominator series but there're troubles in my country, sometimes they send old version with bad chip on it.
So those C15 should be good, unfortunately they got a led -.-
Those damn QVL!
bye guyz wink.gif
