I actually could pull the radiator closer to the unit to force all return air through it (it is only 10 more feet away in the attic), though it seems to be doing quite well as it is for my uses. I'm only stressing the system now so that I find my primary gaming clocks, otherwise the unit is off. Oh, I also have a HEPA whole home unit up there, it is about the right size too, that would do a good job as well.

Thanks for the comments, that is something to think about.

Overclock Results

I've settled on an overclock, after an Aida64 stability test run of 5.5 hours. Roughly, it is a 1.47 VCore @ 4985 mhz. Average CPU temps were in the low to mid 60's C.

I have taken snapshots of the bios settings, and the Aida64 stats for the run. If anyone has thoughts on settings, I would appreciate the advice.

Pretty impressive! But you MUST find a way to get it to 5.0

I had a test running at 5001, but it failed after 2 hours. It would be nice to say I was above. I'm pretty sure it would be fine, but I decided to settle on the BCLK that was more stable on longer runs, even though real world use for me will be a bit different than any stress test.

3DMark 11 Extreme
Before OC: X8956
After OC: X9158

Fairly minor improvement in scores considering the % overclock increase.

3DMark 11 Performance
Before OC: (sorry, forgot to bench on this setting)
After OC: P19253

Unfortunately, I'm in a holding pattern waiting for my Simcraft Apex 3 to arrive. Not much to do right now, can't even play yet!
