This will save your hands as your age, I picked up the craftsman kit like that when I first started getting into this. Helps a ton.

40 up top and 54 on bottom, yah - i'm re-considering the wallet there. I happened to buy them - stupidly & mistakenly - when I THOUGHT I was building a w/c build into the Azza Genesis 9000 ... what an epic fail that was. Either way, with those or another set of 480s in the ST10, I have to wait till CL puts out that PSU mount - late January by their estimate - before hooking up the Seasonic X-1250 into the build.

Oh wow ! I'm deffo old skule, I haven't had a power screwdriver since ... um, well, a long time ago !
Never thought about that. Sort of an ancient Chinese secret, I really don't mind the hand screwdriver, you see so many in pix that people post, I finally bought a set of decent carbide tipped screwdrivers a few months ago.

Altho taking that top plate off - it was a challenge once I got started - did involve a helluva lotta screws - over 20.
Hmmm .... humming that DeWalt tune wink.gif

Welcome TimeToKill ! - you won't regret it - buying a CL case. The only thing you might regret is having bought those other cases before the CL - now you gotta get rid of them - I know I'm needing space !

After looking at my ST10, there's something to be said for the doublewide standard - the M8 - grass is greener and all that crud, hmm ... you'd have a hard time stuffing 2 Monstas into that M8 case, hmm... why am I so obsessed with the Monsta ? Well, CL does make pedestals, and I'm beginning to see that light tongue.gif

So, does the same pedestal for SM8 fit the ST10? Not saying you need or want one, I was just looking at the specs and that's all I could figure out.

Yah, I believe that Jim or Kevin remarked in one of the threads - sm8 or st10 - that they do mix and match. The 10 and 8 are the same width and depth. I'm actually liking the pedestal approach. I gotta wait on that psu mount before I go with 2 480 Monstas. But seeing how short the 2 rads in the case now look, I can't see how I cannot put at least 1 Monsta in it.

Man ! when does the green hemorhaging stop ? wink.gif
