Welcome to:

Lackadaisical

lack·a·dai·si·cal [lak-uh-dey-zi-kuhl]

adjective

Without interest, vigor, or determination; listless; lethargic: a lackadaisical attempt.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The aims of this build log:

Move all the stuff from my current build into the new case, a Corsair Carbide Air 540, and maybe give an overview of the case at the same time.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

What to expect from this build log

  • Moving stuff from one case into another
  • Some less than ideal quality photos
  • An overview of the Corsair Carbide Air 540.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

What NOT to expect from this build log

  • Crazy watercooling
  • Titans
  • Any kind of modding
  • Caselabs
  • Bitfenix Prodigy and mITX board (with silly polaroid photos)

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Specs of the build

Currently Own:

  • CPU - Intel Core i7 3930K
  • Motherboard - ASUS Rampage IV Extreme
  • RAM - GSkill RipjawsZ 1600MHz 16GB (4x4GB)
  • GPU - EVGA GTX 680 FTW
  • PSU - Corsair AX860i
  • CPU Cooler - Corsair H100 w/ 2x Corsair SP120
  • Soundcard - Creative X-Fi Titanium HD
  • Fan Controller - Lamptron FC2
  • Boot drive[/B - OCZ Vertex 2 (?) 120GB
  • Storage drives - 96GB Kingston SSDNow, Seagate 1.5TB, WD Green 2TB, Other brand 500GB
  • Case fans - Bitfenix Spectre Pro

Buying:

  • Case - Corsair Carbide Air 540

Stuff I might add later:

  • Corsair AF120 x3 for the front
  • Corsair sleeved cables in black/ white.
  • 120mm/140mm fan grills so I don't cut my fingers off
  • More HDD space.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Progress of the build log:

  • Initial photo
  • Recieve case
  • Put hardware in the new case
  • Overview of the case
  • Finish

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Current state of the build:

What can I say, all these impressive build logs, sometimes people need something a little more mundane.

I don't even know why direction the build log is going, who knows what'll happen.

Also, Corsair have listed my case as "Ready to Ship", so hopefully I'll have it by next week. thumb.gif
