Hello everyone my name is Iraklis and this will be my second build log posted on this forum.

This project log has some history behind. First of all i am gonna mod the same case i used for my first mod . Its an old Coolermaster Cosmos S case that i tried to mod around late 2010 early 2011. Since then i think that my skills have become a bit sharper and i want to give that case a second chance before it meet its maker.

My plan for this mod will be a small scale dont to the case it self. I am planning to recude the length of the case around 10 cm. That means that ill have to cut also the top and botton handles and the side panels also. I am gonna use reverse motherboard tray, bottom mounted PSU, Triple radiator on the front side plus more radiators around the case. Also i am gonna make the same window opening mechanism as the Cosmos II, but the dream goal is to achieve a way to make the panels open in a lamborghini way. For the color scheme of the build i will use mostly black matte and black matte vinyl and i only have to choose a vivid color for the details.

I make this case and i am planning to SELL it or i may even donate it to someone here in the forum.

Here is some photos i have taken from the parts i already cleaned from paint.

Front panel 1st design

Hope you enjoy the ride

Cheers
Iraklis

Just made some quick sketchup of the initial plan of the case. I am going to plan a custom back plate and a ''fake floor'' for some cable and tube routing. Also there is going to be some metal or acrylic work inside 'seperating' the case in 2.

The renders are on the way smile.gif

Hope you enjoy

I figured out that i can buy from the Coolermaster store the whole exterior of the Cosmos II case for around 150 euro's and at the moment i am seriously thinking of buying it and transform my case in Cosmos II and save 200-220 euros in the process !

Cheers
Iraklis

P.S. Tommorow ill update photos of the metalwork i am currently up to !
