Klemens Evolution 900D Build Log!

Hello friends! and welcome to my 2nd PC build and my first build log!

As you see this is my second money sink because my first sink I started to build 8/8/11 and i call her K.Evo, and she keeps growing nicely inside the Define XL.
First there was a 560 ti and couple of weeks later she got another one for SLI!, after a while I got bored of the screen tearing and 2/2/12 i upgraded to GTX 580.
Later that year She got water, a loop that cooled cpu and gpu and she have been so nice and haven't leaked anything (yet, and was my first wc loop).
24/5/13 i gave her a GTX 780! and in a period of 2 weeks from today (30/8/13) the 780 will be under water, and she is going to move to a Corsair 900D

EDIT:
Some slight delay because i decided to go for the RIVBE+4930k.

This will be my second loop and i hope i learned something from my first config.

PC config:
Intel Core i7 4930K
  • Cooled it with Koolance CPU-380I.

Asus Rampage IV Extreme Black Edition Intel X79
  • may put water on, if existing it fits and if none is making any blocks for it.

4x Mushkin Redline 996997 DDR3 4GB UDIMM 2133 Mhz
  • may buy 4 more of these.

2x Evga GTX 780 SC ACX
  • Cooledwhit EK-FC Titan SE - Acetal and EVGA backplate.

Corsair AX1200
Corsair Obsidian 900D
16x Corsair sp120 high performance
and allot of stuff from current sig rig

Going whit Mayhems Blood red pastel and Tygon E1000 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD tubing.

have been lurking some forums to see if anyone can confirm that i can fit a evga 780 backplate with a EK block, couldn't find a clear answer to i decided to try and mount it

first the screws that EK sent with the block was to short and the head is to big to use with the backplate.

and the longer screw ended up like this.

and i didnt like it, so i found a iron file and my

this is the end result and i like it.

Did some calculation on how i could fit my drain port with the parts i have, so there is a total of 22.5 cm that span between the 2 fan mount rails in the bottom chamber of the 900D.
Warning: Picture is made in paint! (Click to show)

Edit: yea this will never work, because i would never be able to screw it together.
so i must buy a male to male rotary adapter like the Alphacool double nipple G1/4'' outer thread to G1/4 revolvable

Ordered 2 x Phobya G1/4" 25 mm Rotary Extension Fitting, now my drain port is complete.

Update: Sent back my EK-FC Terminal DUAL Parallel 2-Slot and ordered a EK-FC Terminal DUAL Parallel 3-Slot, because i want to use pci-e slot 1 and 3 so the nf200 wont activate.

Update 2:just got an email from Alphacool:
thank you for your request. Unfortunately the container which includes the radiators comes later.

We expect this between 20.09.-30.09.2013.

So i gues my build will be delayed for a few more weeks frown.gif

Want to buy: 25mm rotary extender (5mm thread length + 25mm extension length) ¨

did find and bought 2 of these -> http://www.ebay.com/itm/321151508913

but as seen in the picture it was not the full length 30mm as advertised:

the extender to the right is a Bitspower BP-BSWP-C62 G1/4" Black Sparkle IG1/4" Extender - 25mm.
Also would like to add that the Phobya extender actually look shorter compared to my previous post

So in order to get these "to short" externders to work i gonna use 1x EK-WB screw-in brass standoff
and also ordered 1 xBitspower BP-BSWP-C60 G1/4" Black Sparkle IG1/4" Extender - 15mm, in order to get my 80mm mark.

I'm getting to many extenders, dont know if i can find a use for them all :S
