You don't really need the biocide extreme, since mayhems die already has biocide in the mixture.

I believe you are referring to the Mayhems Pastels Coolant concentrate that comes with biocide in it. As far as I know, Mayhems dye does not come with biocide. I may be wrong though.

Yeah there is no biocide in the dyes that I know of or on any of the descriptions on Mayhems site, that's only the pastels, because if the dyes had biocide then when you mix dyes and pastels you would end up with too much and also when using dyes you only use a small amount dropwise so there wouldn't be enough biocide to be effective. So yeah make sure to get a biocide and/ or a kill coil

Biocide isn't really necessary to begin with though. I have been running my loop with just straight distilled water for months. I never drain and refill unless I am changing the loop/upgrading, and the water every time I drain, its crystal clear.

If I were to do anything, it would to throw a kill coil in a reservoir and call it a day.

Quick update:

It really bothers me that I had to remove the beautiful backplate of my Maximus VI Formula in order for it to fit in my 750D. Since I have the build completely disassembled, I wanted to see if there was any way I could fit it into the case again. After removing the center standoff in the case, I was able to get it to "almost" fit. The only issue is that I'm not able to completely fasten it to the case because it requires putting lots of pressure in order to get the screws to reach the threads on the case itself. I was able to get all screws to catch the threads, but the motherboard pcb began to warp under the pressure. I'm looking to get some longer screws in order to see if that works...

Also, the rest of my parts come in tomorrow, including the EK blocks!

Time to get down to business smile.gif. Those blocks look great, do you have back plates for the cards?
