wellcome to the Project OTЯOV log!

After a while without a gaming machine, i tought i'd build one..

I didnt want any mainstream PC, but something unique, small and dead silent.

For the main colours: Black and "poison"-kinda green.

I was browsing some cases and then i found it, Cooltek full aluminium U2 ITX-case, great looking small case, with good challenge to fit all my stuff in there thumb.gif

Here is how it looks stock:

After some time in my hands..

Looks kinda naked biggrin.gif

And now the list, of becoming internals:

-Two Alphacool ST30, 120-rads
-EK DCP 2.2-pump
-Phobya 150-tube res
-Phobya CPU-block
-Alphacool GPU-block
-Rigid tube probably, but not 100% sure yet

HW itself:

-Gigabyte Z77 ITX-motherboard
-i5-3570K CPU
-8Gb Ram
-Silverstone SFX 450w PSU, with cables to be sleeved to fit the theme
-Asus GTX680 (Which is 28cm~ long, and the case itself has dimensions of 320x200x230)
-2,5" SSD and HDD

This is what i managed to do today:

Got to buy expensive hole-saw, but it did the job well!

Hole for the top radiator mount.

Here you can see some of the layout, PSU at the bottom, 120-rads at the top and the back, which i've already modded with 240-phobya mesh.

Res will be on the top, next to the rad. Motherboard will be oriented connectors facing down.

This was quick start, and more pics and plans will remain to be seen soon!

I got it from finnish seller, it havent been out so long.. So maybe its just a delay, Hope you get one thumb.gif

And for other: Thanks for the interest and subs!

And now comes mega update:

Started to bend the polycarbonate for the motherboard tray, which is removable:

And testing the allmost finished product in the case:

With the motherboard, here you can see how its tilted a little bit, looks just as great as i tought..

The tray attaches with bolts, the nut will be "molded" in to the plastic. The other side of the tray is attached at the rear side with same method. And let me remind that those ugly looking HEX-bolts will be replaced.

That was thuesday..

Today i had some time after work, so i started to make the mid-plate, it will need much more work as it will contain some mirror surface, black and green, reamin to be seen wink.gif

The res. will be at the back, and will be able to be seen from the hole that i made for it, as well as for the 80mm fan, which was the biggest size i can fit there.

The fan hole is in there couse it will be exhausting the warm air also from the bottom section, which will contain pump and some other stuff.

The backpanel will be matt black, but the inner "frames" of the fan and the res. hole, will be lighted in green, will be explained better with pics later on..

From the back it looks like this (at the moment):

Here is little noch i made for the fan.. I think it will look nice in the end:

Here is one more angle:

And about the pics, the final pics will be superior quality, these pics are taken with the phone as i am usually in a hurry..

About the case, there is much more to do but i'm aiming to work on as often as i can, stay tuned for the next steps, there will be some nice lighting effect and the case will get totally new face..
