Hello Everone,

I received this wonderful case as a gift from the family so it's time to put in some work on it. I plan to do some minor modificatiions to the case itself since it is already such an amazing design. I already have my psu sleeved and am now pushing forward with filling in the rest of the case.

To Do:
[x] Corsair Link Cooling Kit
[] 8x SP120 PE PWM fans
[] Custom GPU backplates with acrylic led lit spacer
[] 16GBx Color Matched Corsair Vengeance RAM
[] 3TB Desktop Hard Drive
[] USB ODD to mount under desk
[] Corsair 240 GG SSD
[] Finish Sleeving Fan and Accessory Cables
[] EK H3O 240 HFX Kit
[x] Delid i5-3570k
[] White and UV LED lighting (operated by rocker switch to change between the two)
[] Mount 3.5" drive in 5.25" bay
[] False floor

That is it for now on my list of things to do as of now. Hope you all enjoy.

Ok so for my first major update a lot of strategic planning on parts orders and a handful of new toys. Got the delid done on the 3570k and holding at 4.7GHz right now because I haven't had time to push past that.

Got three of the SP120's hooked up to the front and moved two of the AF140L's to the top. I have one of the SP120's on the front of the H80i to get rid of the ugly grey blades of the SP120L. The anti-vibration corners definitely help since the L version on the rear is much more loud under full speed than the PE PWM on the front. The rings will be getting color matched tomorrow and hopefully reinstalled on Friday or Saturday. Still waiting on another 2-pack of SP120's that are on back order. I will eventually be running 7 in all once my backordered fans come in and I pick up another set when I place the order for the EK kit.

The Corsair Link Commander installed in the bottom left of the case. Great little addition to the case. Only thing that I don't like is the delay between the software and the actual fans that are hooked up to it. The H80i is maintaining it's own USB connection and provides instant response. Not too big of a problem as the H80i is set to a curve and the front SP120's are running on three different profiles I set that pertain to my biggest needs which are benching, gaming, and relaxing.

Now for a little custom work that I'm doing and excited about. Got the outlines for the acrylic spacer and backplates for my gpu's. I picked up some 3mm green LED's that I will wire and mount to the backplate. I will use an acrylic spacer in conjunction to give off a green glow around the edge and light showing through the vent holes. The cards will be vinyl wrapped and then hand drilled ventilation holes and a simple design that will be cut into the back by hand tools since I do not have access to any fancy cutters other than a dremel, drill bits, and a file.

Quick little update. LED spool came in with IR receiver and remote. Now time to grab some wire and more sleeving.

Thank you for the subs. I promise to do my best to deliver a quality project. If you have any thoughts about something please speak up as sometimes I run out of ideas or don't get enough time to actually play around with some.

Now for a small update in what I'm thinking about for paneling with actual visuals.

Ok so here is an outline of where the acrylic paneling is gonna go and it will be carbon fiber wrapped. The bottom will get a false panel where the hard drive will be under the panel with two small fans to help cool it. The corsair commander will remain on top of the paneling so it can still be seen. The back plates for the 660's will be carbon fiber wrapped all the way around and mounted with the acrylic spacer.

I got a second window panel from corsair to put on the back. I plan to use a second sheet of acrylic mounted to the back of the first. This sheet will be frosted and then have black vinyl laid over it with a design cute out. The interior of the bay will be lit with green LEDs so that the design will be lit. I choose to do a separate design panel so that if I decide to use a different design in the future it will be simple to inter change. The initial design is going to be the mandalorian skull.

Small update. Been working on LEDS for the inside of the case and getting ready to make cuts on the spacer and back plates for the gpus. In terms of the inside of the case I was thinking of scrapping the acrylic panelings and just wrapping the floor and mobo tray in carbon fiber to maintain more of the original aesthetic. Any thoughts?

OK got relatively small update here. It's been a long while because of school. Since my last post I received AF140 QE's, a 128GB SSD, some carbon fiber wrap, rosewill USB 2.0 pci expansion card, and a wireless adapter for my XBox 360 controller.

I was experimenting with wrapping the top vent panel and it turned out good but I'm at an impasse on how to the front because of the angles.

here is the top panel

I'll figure out the front panel and I will soon be wrapping the mobo tray and floor board. After that I will be redoing the sleeving on my psu and adding grey paracord as well as cutting the acrylic backplate and wiring up the green LEDs that will light it up.
