Hey guys with my new 900D, I've decided to do a case mod with it, Nothing fancy just a simple black and white paint here and there with lighting.

So few goals here.
1) My logo on the case (being hand painted by my wife)
2) Properly illuminated
3) Cable management
4) Water cooled with a kick butt looking watercooling system.
5) Whatever I can wing as far as illumination goes

Lets kick things off.

Ok, I'm a little behind as far as build logs go but here's the current progress from day 1 when I got the case

Ok so I got my EL Wire in for exterior lighting

Quick proof of concept

And installed

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics

Also! FANS for my radiator came in...

I'm waiting on my molex -> 4 way fan connection to come in. Also got my sleeved cable extensions on order and my new power supply coming in this week.

Tommorow I'm considering ordering my watercooling setup.

Also I decided that I don't want the bottom of my case visible so I bought a piece of sheet metal and decided to fabricate a panel to cover the lower portion

Sadly I don't have a cutting blade for my rotary.

So my wife ran in and handed me this....looks really really good if I do say so myself

got my fans installed. Decided to run EL wire over them to finish out the deal.

As a side note: That darn sound card is driving me up the wall. Those LED's will HALF to be taped and that panel removed. Looks like a christmas tree in there.

Yay! Cable sleeves came in today!

Note also: The new power supply with black cables. Should hide things nicely.

I'm still in the process of modding the case and redoing some of the sleeving progress and I might just get some extensions myself if I get lazy.
