HELLO AGAIN!

As some of you may know I put my Military Themed build on hold since I have alot going on with a new baby here soon and all. But while I have this time off and im around the house I decided to make a upgrade to my desk with some old parts laying around. I have a EVGA X58 SLI3 1366 motherboard with a i7 950 CPU and plenty of water cooling parts. I had the whole build done and I had everything installed how I wanted it then the PSU I was using decided to crap out so I replaced it then one of the stupid SLI Quick Disconnect fittings I was using on the CPU waterblock suddenly popped open from the water pressure and coolant went all over the damn place. I cleaned everything up and now the motherboard will not turn on.....

So long story short I have a desk with alot of holes in it so Im not going to leave it that way...... SO I just spent a little $$ on a Gigabyte G1 Sniper 5 1150 Motherboard and I got a new i7 4770k CPU. Im still using GTX 660s but I will upgrade in the future.

I never use those crappy overpriced watercooling pumps I always go with a industrial pump. So this time Im using a 220v 230watt sump style water pump, it does 100L a Minute and has a 7 meter head. I plan to Have it in a container under the desk with a lid fitted that way the toxic coolant cant get reached by animals of the kids.

Im using my Muskin Red Line Ram 16GB(4x4GB) PC3-12800 7-8-7-24 @ 1.65v Watercooled with BitsPower Ram Water Blocks

The GTX 660's are Water cooled with a EK Supremacy VGA HF Copper, two EK Acenteal Bridge Edition Universal VRM Blocks and I plan to add Copper SInk squares to the VRAM and VREGs later.

Going with different cards now(To be updated)

Im running a Quad Rail Divided Power system with two power supplies, one 700Watt and one 500Watt

The two Power supplies will be liquid cooled with Koolance RAM 133 Waterblocks and Modded EK X58 Chipset Blocks on there own 3/8" Loop

I used a 3.5 4xbay removable Drive cage out of a Corsair 800D, mounted it underneath and its fully functional and mounted properly and sturdy!

The Secondary loop has a low scale 12v pump and a DangerDen Double bay RES mounted underneath.

The Secondary loop is split from primary now(Secondary RES to be determined)

For Radiators Im using two old Automotive Radiator Cores, sounds silly but they are quite solid and provide great cooling with quieter lower speed fans equivalent to a 480mm with Corsair High speed fans! And for the secondary loop im using a Corsair H70 120mm Thick RAD.

Using a MONSTA Stand RAD now

I also added a 20 in one multimedia 2.5 bay

For Monitors I have One HP 27" IPS and two AOC 27" IPS 3x ASUS 27" IPS LED, 3x Gateway 17" LCDs, one 20" LG LED 1080P LCD, and two USB Powered Displays. I currently have all three of the gateways linked in portrait, debezzled and customized for a ultimate display experience! The USB displays are one MIMO Touch Two 7" Touch screen LED LCD 800x600 Resolution, and a custom 2.5" 128bit GOverlay real time Performance monitoring LCD. The MIMO I am using as alternate touch input and to monitor processes. CPU performance, and memory usage. The GOverlay im using to display various performance parameters such as FRAPS and VRAM Usage.

This is the Aquafilter in line filter I installed inside the desk, I also drilled a hole in it and added a GREEN LED looks nice!

So here it sets waiting on the new parts!:

Here is a sketch for the water cooling setup so that it can be better understood:

It looks complicated but if you follow the colors it is quite simple, basically a double parraled double loop setup. The RAM, MOBO, and CPU are on the main loop and the PSU and GPU are on the secondary loop with a valve to control flow. the DD RES is not required but I have it there because I was going with a different pump originally! thumb.gif

I thought I was going to find a Delidded 4770K, but no luck so I went ahead and ordered one from NewEgg. All the stuff should be here in a week or so, I will pick up on this build log then..... thumb.gif
