That's looking nice! thumb.gif
I see you've also put some on the bottom of the baking tin, isn't it already flat?!
How many coats are you planning on doing?

looks really nice!

If you use good grade filler, then there's nothing to worry about.
I've done a lot of bodywork on cars and even campers. One day I had to use tons of filler on the door of a camper and you could flex it a little and smash the door shut. It's a couple of years later now and the filler is still 100% (and there has been a lot of abuse).

Current build logs (On Hold)

Thanks Bruce. There was a slight beaded ridge along the edge of the tin. I wanted a smooth curve there so I leveled it. Hopefully my newbie skill level is up to creating a flat result. wink.gif

I have another coat of glazing putty on there. Need to sand that and see how it looks, then clean up the other side and apply an etching primer to the metal and evaluate again.

Thanks Ron. That's very reassuring. The Everglass is a very high quality, recommended by MNPCTech for flexing parts.

Thank you very much! It's heartening to see the support I've gotten for a mod that some might consider a waste of time. biggrin.gif

Apologies, man. My schedule this week and next week has not allowed me to do much work on the project. But fear not! I'm as eager to get back to it as you are to see more photos!

Loving the "Bump-out" idea for the side panel, I picked up a nice, but non-modular power supply, that may be a great way of hiding all of the extra cables.

Rep'd for the great work so far man, keep doing what your doing. thumb.gif

I've been basically checking OCN once a day at work just to see more pics of this mod. I'll never be as ambitious as the folks here, but I love seeing all the work!
