Today I decided that I'm going to build a PC for my niece (Isa).
I was thinking about giving it to her at Christmas, so I have plenty of time to work on it.
She doesn't believe in Santa, but I'll tell her it's from him. Because when I come home and she's there she always asks ''who is there?'', and I always say ''Santa''.

This will be the case I'm going to use.

Here is a better picture.

The PC will be purple & black and the sleeving too plus I'm going to put a window in it.
Also I'm thinking about customizing the monitor and keyboard.

That's all I have for now. So... If any of you have an idea PLEASE let me know.
Btw, I'm not afraid to do a little modding, so let the ideas pile up! thumb.gif

Tonight I'll be looking into some of the components. (Not buying anything YET till I'm sure what I want).

Just ordered some sleeving and black connectors (those transparent white connectors just look horrible).
So they should be here this weekend or someday next week.

In the meantime I'll be taking apart the case and PSU so it's easier to paint.

I also have decided on most parts.
MB: GA-B85M-D3H*
CPU: Pentium G3240+
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB 1333MHz+
PSU: TermalMaster 500W*
HDD: WD Green 500GB*
ODD: LG GA24NS+
OS: Windows 8.1*
Extra's: Cisco PCI Wi-Fi card*
*= already have it +=Going to buy.

Later today there will be another update (with pics)!

Sorry for the holdup but there were a couple of things that caused a delay.

Still waiting on a crimping tool before I can start sleeving.
But I did do some other things. Here's a little teaser.

The case is almost completely painted so there will be updates soon.

Still waiting on the crimping tool. jealoussmiley.gif

The hole for the window is cut! biggrin.gif Unfortunately I can't get it straight, so I'll be buying a nice trim to go over it.

For some weird reason I can't find the photo I took after the cutting. mad.gif

But the good news is that I already sleeved the SATA cables.
Sorry for the bad lighting.

Soon I hope to buy CPU, RAM and ODD so I can fire it up and install everything test it out.
