A while ago someone gave me this PC and I was not really sure what to do with it. After I saw a couple of beige case mods I knew what I wanted, modding the case but keeping the components.

yeah, you see that right!!! It's a Intel Pentium slot 1!

This morning I disassembled her and was left with this and a box full of components.

I just came back from the hardware store with a dremel and a sheet of polycarbonate (pc). It's not easy to haul a sheet of 1.8X100X100mm pc on a bike while it's rainy and windy.

My plans with this case are:
- A window
- A nice color (black?)
- Better airflow (more fans)
- Some lighting
- Probably even more

More updates coming soon!!!

Looking more closely, that's a very challenging case. biggrin.gif

One piece of metal for top, back side, and bottom with plastic fascia on all of them? And the 5.25" drive cage uses part of the back side panel. And no separate mobo tray? Tough to do any serious reconfiguration, but if you are aggressive, anything is possible. You maybe could take the entire metal frame, flip it upside down so the top is the bottom, then remove the front metal panel and flip that part right-side up and reattach. That would give you PSU on bottom. But you'd have to do some serious work on the 5.25" cage to make that work.

I look forward to seeing whatever you decide to do with it. Gonna be awesome!
