Looking at the color of the board, that would show up like an eye sore too...

You know, just for grins or maybe for real, you could try Arctic Silver's Arctic Clean on that if the alcohol doesn't work out. You'd need to be really careful with it because it could absorb into other things around it...

You could also clean it and then touch up the slots by hand...
