Have a couple weeks off work and I'm going to try to get thru the most of a new build to pass the time. We're going with a gold/black theme on this one, however, I am not sure what to name it yet...suggestions are welcome.

This build will have the following components:

Hardware
  • CPU: Intel 5930k 3.70GHZ Six Core
  • Mother Board: ASRock X99 OC Formula
  • RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 64GB (8 x 8GB) DDR4 2800
  • GPU: 2x EVGA GTX Titan X Superclocked
  • Power Supply: EVGA Supernova T2 1600W
  • Case: In Win S-Frame (gold/black)
  • Storage: TBD, Might go for an M.2 unit

Cooling
  • CPU Block - Watercool Heatkiller IV Pro Copper AN
  • GPU Block - 2x EK-FC Titan X w/ EK Titan X backplates (gold)
  • Radiator: EK Coolstream XE 360
  • Reservoir - Monsoon MMRS
  • Pump - Aquacomputer D5
  • Fans - Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilentPro PL2
  • Fittings - Primochill Rigid Revolver Diamond Knurled Gold, EK-AF Angled Fittings Black Chrome
  • Tube - Alphacool Black Chrome Brass Tubing

Timeline
12/21/2015 - Unboxing first components
12/22/2015 - CPU Block & PSU
12/26/2015 - Rad Install, Pump Housing, Mocked Loop

The color scheme is great. I really like that gold over the toned down version Asus did.

Got the CPU block and the PSU in and took a few pics

Heatkiller IV Pro - Copper AN

EVGA Supernova T2 1600W

PSU w/ the Gold Case Mount...love it

I think I'll be doing the Monsoon MMRS setup for the res. Probably will have the black chrome d5 cover and black chrome tension rods, Matte black tops, and clear res tubes. I'll then use Mayhems Pastel Sunset Yellow and add a little red dye to get it to match the gold of the system in the res. With the MMRS system, I think i will have the center coupler accepting the return from the GPU terminal and just have the top be a fill port. Would setup the loop to be:

RES -> Pump -> Rad -> CPU -> GPU -> RES

I bought some scrap copper tube to work with so I don't waste the more expensive black chromated tube. Apparently, the hardware stores round here do not carry pipe benders, so I had to order some from amazon. I'm expecting them to be here Thursday. After that, I will hopefully have some loop construction pictures. The res and some other loop supplies shipped today, except for the coupler and mounts, as they ran out of stock frown.gif

I am in fact. I haven't gotten the S3 ordered yet, but I will be diving headfirst into another Caselabs Soon. I am excited to see the frame that you are going to work on.
