I'll start permanently riveting it together next weekend if all goes well, but will be a while before the liquid cooling components start going in....

Right now it's going to be:

Asus Maximus Extreme VIII MB
6700K chip
GTX 1080 GPU
Viper 32 GB Ram
and about 26 TB of HDD storage drives for my home media center and a 250GB SSD for C

Almost out of room so, i'll be upgrading to larger or additional drives soon

Any suggestions to the build are very welcome.... i'm a former U.S. Army aircraft Flight Engineer...... but i'm just learning about computer builds now, so if there are any "why the hell did he use that component?" comments, please feel free to post them so i can learn from it and adjust as the build moves forward.... with that being said, C drive will be about 12 inches away from the MB, but the media drives are gonna be about 50 inches after the routing... about 50% longer than recommended for Sata cables... not ideal but i figured i'd see if the data loss is a major deal... if so, i'll adjust and go from there. Any suggestions on this? Anyway to go from Sata to eSata back to Sata?

slow day.... started test fitting location for optic drive and making mount for it, then decided that i need a new drive without the extending tray so that there will only be a barely noticeable slot in the front of the desk.... Might run to the shop tomorrow if they are open to get one and continue tomorrow.....

thanks... it'll be shoe horned into this window area once it's finished. It's exactly the size of the opening between the closets with an 1/8 gap on each side. Will make riveted molding to fill that in once it's in place..
