So make a quick post below and let me know which Pattern # that you would go with.
I'm going to wait a week or so before I decide. Meanwhile I'll start on the eight and four pin motherboard power cables.
I like #4 and #6 the best out of this bunch. Just depends on how much red you want in the center.

Lol...I'm starting to play with coloring combinations for new wiring right now also. Again....we are going to end up with similar builds. Titanium grey is in my new mix also....

Hmm ... I don't like any of the ones where the gray and black are separate. It seems funny to say this when only three colors are involved, but those combinations seem too cluttered.

Initially, I liked the 4 reds on the outside with a slight preference to the version that has the gray on the inside (#2). Your #6 is good ... but does the red on the outside cause it to 'bleed' away?

Have you tried black, gray as the two very outside and 8 solid reds on the inside? That pattern would give your 24 pin cable a solid border of black (including the black plugs).

Ditto what Ruffi said about the black and grey separated.

4 and 6. I am a tad partial to 4

The Titanium grey looks great, and ties in with the motherboard theme nicely as well.

I did not think of that color combo ruffhi. Let's take a look... adding two more patterns here.

Pattern #11

Pattern #12
Reversing the grey and black again. I like the black on the outside of the grey in every pattern better than grey outside of black.

Yeah I felt the same way about the black and grey separated, it seems "too busy" that way.

Hmm ... too much red in a block? Move the gray to the middle (BRRRRGGRRRRB)?

I'm running out of ideas here .

BTW ... the shots provided are good ... but the shot with the motherboard is the bomb.

Let's take a look at the three finalists with the motherboard.

Those two are in my final three!

Ok I've whittled it down to the final three patterns here. So I thought I'd show the final three with the motherboard to give it a more realistic look. I like the patterns with the black outside, and the grey on the inside better.

Here's Pattern #4

This is Pattern #6 my original favorite.

This is Pattern #13 that ruffhi came up with, and is now my current favorite one.

Here's a bonus one, Pattern #14 based off the one above, I just moved the two grey wires out, with two reds in the middle. I still like #13 more than this one though.

I'll be making a decision in the next few days here, and probably get started on it over the weekend. Let me know if you have any further thoughts.

Thx for the update. I do like #13 with the black borders. Keeps the red 'corralled'.

How are you planning on doing the 4 wire combos? BRRB?
