Hello All! This is going to be my first actual build log! I always say that I am going to take my time and do the work to photograph the process but I get to excited that I normally just build without following my normal plan.

This log will probably still be quick and the majority will be wrapped up over the next week. I posted my current rig on Reddit and had someone flat out offer to buy it. They didn’t even haggle with the price I threw out! The funny thing is I was for sure I was getting scammed until I got the notification on my phone from paypal telling me otherwise!

I sold my M8 about a year and a half ago and it left a void as far as chassis’ went. I got a Ncase and a LianLi PCQ37 and while these have a superb build quality it still wasn’t CaseLabs.. Im a case addict. I build for the build and new chassis' are my excuse to do so.

Alas, a wonderful price on an S3. I was sold. Bring on another build. Thanks 3lfk1ng!

The one thing that I really want to incorporate into this build that my last few cases wouldn't allow because of its size restrictions is the Aqualis Pro. It is my favorite res. While big, it has the most beautiful display as the water cascades out of the fountain.

I love all things minimal when it comes to design and will be following suite with this build. The majority of this build is going to be revolving around the color panel of the Cosmos - Black, White and Silver.. Diadem of 12 Stars is the name of one of my favorite albums and will be setting the theme for this build and my hardware will find its home within the dark cold corners of the astral sky..

Lets take a walk and look at the parts for this ITX build.

Case: CaseLabs S3 w/ 36mm Extended Top and 240 Front Mount (Purchased and in possession)
PSU: Corsair HXi 750w (Purchased and in possession)
Ram: Corsair Dominator Platinum 8GB x2 @ 3000MHz (In possession from previous build)
Processor: Intel Skylake i7-6700K (In possession from previous build)
Motherboard: Asus Strix Z270i ITX Board (Purchased and in possession)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1080 FE (In possession from previous build)
OS: Windows 10 (In possession from previous build)
Storage: Samsung 850 Evo 500 | WD Green 3TB for my slave drive (In possession from previous build)
Lighting: Darkside 12in w/ 5mm for Aqualis (Purchased and in possession)

And to the reason why I am rebuilding

Water!

Waterblock:
EK Supremacy EVO Clear Plexi (In possession from previous build)
GPU Block: EK 1080 FE Nickle Plexi (In possession from previous build)
Tubing: 16mm Bitspower PETG(Purchased and in transit)
Reservoir: Aqualis Pro 440ml (Purchased and in possession)
Radiators: EK XE 240mm in the roof | EK PE 240mm in the Front Mount (Purchased and in possession)
Fittings: Assorted Barrow and Bitspower 16mm Shiny Silver (Purchased and in transit)
Pump: EK DDC 3.2 Elite Plexi (Purchased and in possession)
Fan Control: Aquaero 6XT (Purchased and in possession)
Fans: Noiseblocker eLoop B12's (Purchased and in possession)

I have a few things that I will be adding in stage 2 – PSU Cables, NVME M.2, and the 7700K. This should take place in the next few months.

Lets get to the build!

I hope to have a few friendly faces follow me on my first documented journey!

Subbed! Getting ready to start on my S3 once all the finishing touches are done on my SM8.

Of course, my M8 still my favorite. Not sure how you managed to let that beauty go... I'm likely to sell my guns before that case... and that's never gonna happen either! biggrin.gif

Based on your other builds this should be a beauty!

First half of my parts have been purchased and are in route!

This is my first time with an Aquaero and am excited to get my hands on one!

The remainder of the parts will be ordered this weekend!

I also decided to do chrome plated brass tubing over the traditional clear. My hopes is that the white Darkside LED's are really going to bling off of it! As well as I have been coveting a chrome tube build for a few years now.. Lets do it!

DON'T FORGET THE ST. PATTYS DAY COUPON THIS WEEKEND!
