[Build Log] Project AD

Hey everyone. Been lurking for quite awhile but figured I should start logging this since it's starting to get serious. A lot of the hardware is going to be outdated because I started collecting parts back in 2013 so some of it is carry over from an existing build (Graphics cards) but for the most part it's all brand new parts just from the previous generations. I should also probably note that this build is going to take awhile to finish.

I also wanted to try my hand at cable sleeving. Every time I try to look for pre-sleeved cables I either find just extensions which doesn't look as clean, can't find the right lengths or the cables have heat shrink. I'd like to have all shrinkless cables.

Since this is going to be my first watercooling build I'm going to start out with soft tubing and then upgrade to Hard line at a later date.

I'm just going to start with the list and go from there.

Booted successfully with no hardware issues. Also got Windows 7 ultimate installed and some drivers. Man getting Windows installed directly to the Samsung M.2 was a royal PITA. Since Samsung only offers an installation file I had to find a developer kit for extracting the INF files I needed to copy to the thumb drive so that I could load it during the install. Well worth it in my opinion. Tonight I'll be finishing driver installation and Windows activation. Also tested the LEDs in the CPU block to see how it would look. I won't be posting any more pictures or doing any more work until the DSLR arrives.
